A big vintage statement set of 14K gold heart shaped blue sapphire with diamonds in ballerina setting. This set is very reminiscent of retro jewelry in the mid 20th century. Due to the effects of world war, yellow gold became fashionable again and colored gemstones took center stage while diamonds were only used as accents. Retro jewelry were big and bold.
This heavily stone encrusted set has the following gemstones, 3 big heart-shaped blue sapphires, 72 pieces baguette cut blue sapphires and 48 pieces of 0.03 ct brilliant cut diamonds! It’s been gently cleaned and in good vintage condition.
