A big vintage relicario pendant with antique tamburin beads all made in silver in gold-plated finish from the Philippines. These did not originally come together. The glass reliquary features a monstrance.
Antique tamburin beads were originally strung on thread. This one’s connected with eye loops which is a technique to lengthen the necklace and most likely came from broken necklaces. Still, the details are pretty intricate and amazing – it has the granada, florecitas and balimbing beads (see photo with labels).
The glass has signs of wear normal for its age. Other than that, it is in good condition, professionally cleaned and ready to be worn again.
