A big antique tamburin necklace made of silver dipped in gold. This is a traditional Filipino necklace originally called “rosario” because it was patterned after the rosary. This was popular during the Spanish occupation in the Philippines where a lot of Filipinos were converted to Christianity.
The reliquary features a leaf design and encased in glass. The big tamburin beads were intricately and painstakingly made. This is 43 inches long! I love the quality. It’s been professionally cleaned, strung in silk thread with french wires and ready to be worn again. It is in good antique condition.
Measurements:
Chain Length: 43.00 inches
Height (relicario): 1.97 inches
Height (w/ mariposa): 2.77 inches
Width (widest part): 1.55 inches
Total Weight: 91.50g
